PAS Attend The Twinned Tinahely Show
Support From PAS For This Long Standing Arrangement
9 delegates from the Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society attended the Tinahely Show in County Wicklow on Monday the 6th August. This long standing arrangement sees PAS members, and others, visiting the Tinahely show, with a party form Tinahely returning to our very own County Show each year.
Among the visitors, many delegates had the honour of judging while at Tinahely.
First of all, well known Pembrokeshire farmer and businessman, Anthony Rees, judged all of the 15 beef classes at the show - including the 'Supreme'.
Further to this Brian and Margaret Harries, President and his Lady judged Bedt Trad.
Other judging was held by Nicola Owen, President Elect, who judged the Vintage section. Marilyn Bevan judged the beef young handler group and Maggie Simons, Lady Ambassador joined the Baby judging team.
Adding valuable moral support were, Stephen and Gaynor Hancock, who run a well established agricultural business and long standing show supporters, along with Tim Simons, grassland consultant and dairy farmer.Of course, while at the show all who represented the Pembrokeshire County Show didn't touch a drop of Guinness!......(Said Pinocchio....).
